Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

Customer Responsibility: Customers must operate scooters legally according to provincial and municipal laws. We are not liable for fines, tickets, or legal violations.

Shipping-related issues (delays, lost packages) are governed by our Shipping Policy.

1. Order Cancellations & Changes

a. Cancelling Orders (Before Processing or Shipping)

You may cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been processed or shipped. A 2.9% transaction fee will apply.

b. Cancelling Orders (After Processing or Shipping)

If your order has been processed or shipped, cancellation may still be possible prior to delivery. You will be responsible for:

  • 2.9% transaction fee (payment processing costs)
  • Actual round-trip shipping costs

c. Changing an Order

If the order has not shipped, we will do our best to accommodate changes. Once shipped, any change will be treated as a cancellation and re-order. Email info@kukirinscootercanada.com.

2. Return Policy (After Delivery)

All sales are final unless the item meets return criteria. Only unopened, factory-sealed merchandise within the specified timeframe is eligible.

Return Eligibility

  • Unopened, factory-sealed
  • Return request within 2 calendar days of delivery
  • All original packaging, manuals, and accessories included
  • Use a trackable shipping method (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)

No Trial, Test, or Evaluation Use

Any signs of use render the unit non-returnable.

No Returns for Change of Mind

Returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, opened/used items, or dissatisfaction following use.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee plus return shipping (unless due to our error or confirmed manufacturing defect).

Exceptions (No Fees Charged)

  • Wrong item shipped
  • Item damaged during transit
  • Confirmed manufacturing defect

3. Manufacturing Defects

Contact service@kukirinscootercanada.com within 7 days of delivery with photos/videos and order number.

  1. Troubleshoot with our team
  2. Verification by technical team or supplier
  3. If confirmed, ship replacement parts or repair free of charge
  4. If defect cannot be repaired, provide replacement unit

Exclusions: Damage caused by misuse, accidents, water, overloading, tandem riding, unauthorized repairs, or modifications is not covered.

4. Reporting Shipping Damage

Report shipping damage, missing parts, or incorrect items within 48 hours of delivery, with photo evidence.

5. Refunds & Processing Times

  • Approved refunds processed to original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • During peak/complex cases: 1–4 weeks.

6. Return Shipping Instructions

  • Return received within 12 weeks of approval
  • Item must remain unopened and in original packaging
  • Use trackable courier and retain tracking number
  • Customer pays return shipping unless due to our error or confirmed defect

7. International Returns

For orders shipped outside Canada, customers are responsible for return shipping, duties, taxes, and customs fees. Delayed or refused returns due to unpaid fees will not be refunded.

8. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If a chargeback is opened, warranty or return processing may be temporarily paused until resolution.

9. Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit statutory rights under applicable provincial laws.
